- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder
- pecans - 1/2 c
- oatmeal - 1 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
How to make oatmeal cake:
Topping:3/4 c. brown sugar1/2 c. pecans1 c. coconut Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over 1 cup oatmeal. Let stand 20 minutes. Cream together oleo, white sugar, brown sugar and eggs. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Add oatmeal and 1/2 cup pecans. Pour into 9 x 12-inch greased pan.Mix topping and cover cake with mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
