  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • coconut - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder
  • pecans - 1/2 c
  • oatmeal - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • stick oleo - 1 item

How to make oatmeal cake:

Topping:3/4 c. brown sugar1/2 c. pecans1 c. coconut Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over 1 cup oatmeal. Let stand 20 minutes. Cream together oleo, white sugar, brown sugar and eggs. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Add oatmeal and 1/2 cup pecans. Pour into 9 x 12-inch greased pan.

Mix topping and cover cake with mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
