  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • boiling water
  • oatmeal - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • cream or milk - 1/4 c

How to make oatmeal cake:

Mix together and spread on top of the cake. Place the cake in the oven and put on broil until it is browned lightly. This cake freezes well.
