Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 12 oz
  • butterscotch chips - 12 oz
  • miniature marshmallows - 2 c

How to make nordy bars:

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter. Add the butterscotch chips and brown sugar; melt. Remove from the heat and stir in the eggs. Add the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the vanilla. Set aside until cool. When cool, add the chocolate chips, marshmallows and nuts. Spread in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Cool before cutting, it is a lot easier.
