  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • raisins - 1/2 c
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • applesauce - 1 c

How to make applesauce cake:

Cream the butter and sugar together. Add baking soda to applesauce (will become foamy), then add applesauce to sugar and butter mix. Sift flour and spices and add to mixture. Stir in raisins. Pour in buttered loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes at 350°.
