Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • sifted flour - 4 c
  • Crisco - 3/4 c
  • margarine - 1 c
  • egg, well beaten - 1 item
  • salt optional - 2 tsp

How to make no fail pie crust:

Blend shortening with two knives or pastry blender until coarse textured. Add well beaten egg with 1/2 cup water and the salt. Roll into ball. Divide into 4 portions. (Can be put in pie tin and frozen, if desired.) Roll one portion for prebaked crust
