No fail pie crust
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 4 c
- Crisco - 3/4 c
- margarine - 1 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- salt optional - 2 tsp
How to make no fail pie crust:
Blend shortening with two knives or pastry blender until coarse textured. Add well beaten egg with 1/2 cup water and the salt. Roll into ball. Divide into 4 portions.
