Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- firmly packed dark brown sugar - 1 c
- whole graham crackers - 15 item
- unsalted butter - 1 c
- chopped toasted pecans
How to make natchez cookies:
Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly butter 11 x 17-inch cookie sheet. Arrange crackers side by side in pan. Stir butter and sugar together in pan until sugar melts. Mix in vanilla. Increase heat and boil 1 minute. Pour over crackers. Top with nuts and bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips on top. Cool 4 minutes.
