  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • nuts - 1 c
  • egg, separated - 1 item

How to make natchez cookies:

Cream margarine, sugar and egg yolk; beat well. Add flour and cinnamon; mix well. Beat egg white until foamy; spread batter thin on cookie sheet. Brush egg white on top; sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 300° for 25 to 30 minutes. When done, remove from cookie sheet at once.
