Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- nuts - 1 c
- egg, separated - 1 item
How to make natchez cookies:
Cream margarine, sugar and egg yolk; beat well. Add flour and cinnamon; mix well. Beat egg white until foamy; spread batter thin on cookie sheet. Brush egg white on top; sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 300° for 25 to 30 minutes. When done, remove from cookie sheet at once.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
