Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 c
- flour - 1/2 pt
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cold water - 4 qt
- vinegar - 8 c
- dry mustard
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- turmeric - 1 Tbsp
- sliced green tomatoes - 1 qt
- small cucumbers or sliced large ones - 1 qt
- small white button onions - 1 qt
- large cauliflower, cut small - 1 item
- sweet green peppers, sliced fine - 4 item
How to make mustard pickles:
In sterile jars, pack with onions, cut into chunks. Add 1 part vinegar to 1 part water. Can add other vegetables such as hot peppers, green peppers, carrots (cut in chunks), celery, etc. Store in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Low protein, Lunch/snacks, Vegetables.
