Ingredients/Components

  • margarine, softened - 1/2 lb
  • eggs - 1/2 doz
  • brown sugar - 1 lb
  • white sugar - 2 c
  • white Karo syrup - 1/2 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 4 tsp
  • peanut butter
  • quick oatmeal not instant - 9 c
  • chocolate chips - 1/2 lb

How to make monster cookies:

Mix the first 8 ingredients with mixer in a large, extra large, I mean big bowl! Add oatmeal, candy and chips. Mix with wooden spoon or, if easier, with hands. Drop by rounded spoonful. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes. (This is half the original recipe.)
