- salt - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1 item
- small onion - 1 item
- cans red kidney beans - 2 item
- hamburg - 2 lb
- carrots, cut in long 1-inch strips - 1 item
- chili powder to suit your taste - 1 item
How to make mom's chili:
Fry hamburg with onion, salt and pepper; when brown and in small pieces, add beans with juice. Add tomato soup and chili powder. (Small amount of water may be added if it seems too dry.) Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Chili.
