Molasses popcorn balls
Ingredients/Components
- cup molasses - 1/2 item
- cup white corn syrup - 1/2 item
- 1/2 quarts of popcorn with 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1 item
- 1/2 teaspoons vinegar - 1 item
- 1/2 tablespoons margarine - 1 item
How to make molasses popcorn balls:
In a 2 quart saucepan combine molasses, corn syrup and vinegar. Cook, stirring occasionally till a little mixture dropped into cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat, add 1 1/2 tablespoons margarine. Stir only long enough to mix. Pour over popcorn. Toss until coated. Quickly shape into 2 1/2-inch balls.
