  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 3/4 c
  • molasses - 4 Tbsp
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • cloves - 1/2 tsp

How to make molasses cookies:

Mix together; form in balls. Press down slightly with glass dipped in sugar, if preferred. Bake at 350° for about 10 minutes.
