  • Crisco - 1 c
  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • flour
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • boiling water - 1 c

How to make moist chocolate cake:

Mix together Crisco, sugar and eggs. Add buttermilk all at once. Mix and add flour, baking soda and cocoa. Add last the boiling water. Bake in a 350° oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
