  • pepper - 1 item
  • egg yolks, beaten - 3 item
  • 250 g cottage cheese - 1 c
  • 85 ml water - 1/3 c
  • 85 ml lemon juice - 1/3 c

How to make mock hollandaise sauce:

In top of a double boiler blend together the cottage cheese, water and lemon juice. Beat until smooth and creamy. Add beaten egg yolks and salt and pepper to taste. Stir constantly over simmering water until the sauce is thick. Serve hot.
