Mississippi mud cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- miniature marshmallows - 1 item
- sticks butter - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- chopped pecans if desired - 1 c
- chocolate frosting - 1 item
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar and eggs
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Melt butter and cocoa together. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and eggs. Mix well. Add flour, salt, chopped nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Spoon batter into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle marshmallows on top of warm cake. Cover with your favorite chocolate frosting.
