Mississippi mud cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- chopped nuts - 1 2
- cocoa
- stick butter, melted - 1/2 item
- miniature marshmallows - 1 item
- sticks butter - 2 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- Add sugar and eggs
- self-rising flour do not sift - 1/2 1
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Melt butter and cocoa. Add sugar and eggs. Add flour and nuts. Mix well. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes. After baking, while hot, cover top of cake lightly with marshmallows (you might have to put it back in the oven a few minutes to melt the marshmallows; they will still be formed but will spread once you start icing).
