Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
How to make mile high biscuits:
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt in bowl. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Stir in egg and milk, mixing to form soft dough. Knead lightly on floured surface.
