  • salt - 1 tsp
  • Velveeta cheese - 1/2 lb
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • corn tortillas - 1 item
  • can green chilies - 1 item
  • can enchilada sauce - 1 item

How to make mexican casserole:

In skillet, cook ground beef, salt and onion until done; drain well. Add enchilada sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Combine cream of mushroom soup, green chilies and Velveeta cheese. Cook until cheese is melted over low heat or microwave. Starting with soup mixture, layer quartered tortillas, then the meat mixture. Make several layers always starting with soup mixture and ending with soup mixture. Sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top. Bake 1 hour at 300°.
