Ingredients/Components

  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • hamburger - 1 to
  • can chopped green chilies - 1 item
  • grated Monterey Jack cheese - 8 oz
  • can enchilada sauce - 1 item
  • chopped medium onion - 1 item
  • several Doritos chips - 1 item

How to make mexican casserole:

Note: Sauce may be hot or mild.

Brown onion and meat. Drain well. Pour back in large skillet and mix in soups, sauce and chilies; heat through, stirring to mix. Put enough of mixture in large Pyrex casserole dish to cover the bottom. Crumble enough chips to cover mixture real well. Add rest of mixture, spread grated Monterey Jack cheese on top. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.

Note: I use restaurant style chips.
