Mexican casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- salsa - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- medium onion - 1 item
- corn tortillas - 12 item
- cumin - 1 tsp
- can green chilies - 4 oz
- cooked pinto beans - 2 c
- sprinkle of garlic powder - 1 item
- Colby cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
How to make mexican casserole:
Spray each tortilla with Pam and warm in microwave. Brown beef and add onion, chilies, garlic, chili powder, cumin and salt. Mix salsa and beans. Layer softened tortillas in 9 x 13-inch dish with meat, bean mixture and top with cheese. Bake in 400° oven until cheese melts.
