Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • oleo - 1/4 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • crushed cornflakes
  • melted oleo - 1/2 c
  • frozen hash browns - 24 oz
  • can cream of chicken or cream of celery soup - 1 item
  • grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 3 c

How to make potato casserole:

Topping:2 c. crushed cornflakes1/4 c. oleo Defrost potatoes. Combine oleo, pepper, onion, sour cream and cheese. Mix with potatoes and pour into buttered casserole dish. Cover with buttered cornflakes or put butter on top of cornflakes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
