Meatball dinner
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chopped carrots - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- slices bread - 3 item
- tomato juice - 2 c
- grated onion - 3 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 3 Tbsp
- hot shortening - 2 Tbsp
How to make meatball dinner:
Soften bread in milk. Add egg. Mix rest. Make 18 balls. Roll in flour. Brown in hot shortening; drain. Add tomato juice, water, carrots, celery, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Serve with rice, potatoes or noodles. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
