Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • brown sugar
  • rolled oats - 1/2 c
  • ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onions - 1/2 c
  • mustard - 1 tsp
  • ketchup - 1/2 c
  • prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
  • hamburger - 2 lb
  • chopped green peppers - 1/2 c

How to make meat loaf:

Piquant Sauce:3 Tbsp. brown sugar1/2 c. ketchup1 tsp. mustard1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg Piquant Sauce: Mix until smooth.

Mix hamburger and the next 8 ingredients altogether. Shape in a roasting pan. Put sauce on top. Bake for about 45 to 60 minutes.
