Marinated vegetable salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 1
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- can English peas, drained - 1 oz
- jar diced pimento, drained - 1 oz
- can white Shoe Peg corn, drained - 1 oz
- can French-style beans, drained - 1 1/2
How to make marinated vegetable salad:
Combine vegetables, tossing lightly. Combine remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring occasionally. Pour over vegetables, stirring gently to blend. Cover and chill for 24 hours. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Salads, Marinades and rubs.
