Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- diced celery - 1 c
- can French-style green beans, drained - 1 oz
- jar diced pimento, drained - 1 oz
- diced bell pepper - 1 c
- cans white Shoe Peg corn, drained - 2 oz
- can small sweet peas, drained - 1 oz
How to make vegetable salad:
Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil in small saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cool.Combine corn and next 6 ingredients in a large bowl; stir in vinegar mixture. Chill 8 hours; drain. Serves 10 to 12.
