Marinated vegetable salad
Ingredients/Components
- can small English peas - 1 oz
- can white or yellow corn - 1 oz
- can French-style beans - 1 1/2
- jar diced pimento - 1 oz
- chopped onion - 1/2 1
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil or less - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
How to make marinated vegetable salad:
Sauce:1 c. sugar1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. vegetable oil or less1/2 tsp. pepper Drain salad ingredients and mix well. Combine sauce in a medium pan and bring to boil over low heat, then pour over vegetables. Stir. Cover and chill for 24 hours.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Salads, Marinades and rubs.
