Marinated onions
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- to 4 onions, sliced - 3 item
How to make marinated onions:
Soak sliced onions in cold, salty water (add ice cubes) for one hour or longer; drain off most of water. Add vinegar and sugar; stir well. Keep covered with additional ice cubes or in covered container in refrigerator until ready to serve.In memory of my mother, Judy Havel.
