Ingredients/Components
- elbow macaroni, cooked - 1 lb
- carrots, grated - 4 item
- chopped green pepper - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- sugar - 1 c
- white vinegar - 1 c
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 item
How to make marinated macaroni salad:
Cook and drain macaroni. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large salad bowl. Mix sugar and vinegar in a saucepan. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Add milk and mayonnaise. Pour over macaroni mixture. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving.Recipe categories: Salads, Pasta, Elbow macaroni.
