Marinated coleslaw
Ingredients/Components
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- large onion, diced - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- shredded cabbage - 3 c
- sugar substitute - 1 Tbsp
- large green pepper, diced - 1 item
- low-cal Italian dressing
How to make marinated coleslaw:
Combine vegetables and sugar in bowl; stir well. Combine Italian dressing, dry mustard and celery seed in saucepan. Bring to boil. Remove from heat. Pour mixture over vegetables, tossing to coat well. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or until chilled. Stir and serve using a slotted spoon.A 1/2-cup serving equals 1 vegetable exchange and a trace of fat.
