  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • raspberry jam - 1 item

How to make maids of honor:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs; beat well. Add vanilla and dry ingredients. Mold into small greased tins. Fill centers with raspberry jam. Bake in a 400° oven for 10 to 15 minutes. When cooled, top with cream.
