Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- sliced apples - 2 c
How to make apple custard pie:
Arrange 1/2 of apples in bottom of 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Mix sugar and flour; spread 1/2 over apples. Pour in remainder of apples and spread remainder of flour-sugar mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pat with butter and dash of nutmeg. Pour milk, mixed with beaten egg and vanilla, over entire mixture.
