Apple custard pie

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• butter - 2 Tbsp
• egg, beaten - 1 item
• dash of nutmeg - 1 item
• sliced apples - 2 c

How to make apple custard pie:

Arrange 1/2 of apples in bottom of 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Mix sugar and flour; spread 1/2 over apples. Pour in remainder of apples and spread remainder of flour-sugar mixture. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pat with butter and dash of nutmeg. Pour milk, mixed with beaten egg and vanilla, over entire mixture. Bake in a 375° oven for about 50 minutes.
