Ingredients/Components

  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • olive oil - 1/2 c
  • chopped parsley - 1/4 c
  • linguine - 1 lb
  • thyme - 1/4 tsp
  • each cans chopped clams - 3 to
  • to 6 gloves fresh garlic - 4 item

How to make linguine with white clam sauce:

Heat oil in pan. Press garlic and cook until golden. Add clam juice from cans; add salt, pepper and thyme. Let simmer very slowly. Add clams. Cook linguine. Add parsley to sauce about 5 minutes before linguine is cooked. Drain linguine and mix all together. Sprinkle on Parmesan cheese, if desired.
