Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1/4 c
- egg yolks - 3 item
- lemons - 2 item
- sweet milk - 2 c
How to make lemon pie:
Mix sugar and flour. Add well beaten egg yolks, then add milk gradually and stir until smooth. Then cook in a double boiler until thick. Add the juice and grated rind of 2 lemons and pour in a baked 9-inch pie shell. Top with beaten egg whites to which 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla has been added.
