Pumpkin pie
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- evaporated milk
- all-purpose flour - 1 Tbsp
- canned pumpkin
- slightly beaten egg - 1 item
- pumpkin pie spice or 1 tsp
How to make pumpkin pie:
Mix sugar, flour, salt and spice together. Add and stir until smooth pumpkin, milk and egg. Pour mixture into 9-inch unbaked pastry crust. Bake in a 375° oven for about 50 minutes or until firm. Serve warm or cold.Use recipe substituting 1 cup white sugar and 3 eggs (Mrs. Hewey Chadwich).
