Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1/4 c
- Cool Whip - 16 oz
- Top Layer:2 boxes cook and serve lemon pie filling
How to make lemon dessert:
Middle Layer:1 3/4 c. powdered sugar8 oz. cream cheese16 oz. Cool Whip Top Layer:2 boxes cook and serve lemon pie filling Bottom Crust: Mix flour, 1/4 cup powdered sugar and margarine together. Press lightly in greased 11 x 14 dish. Cook 15 minutes on 350°. Cool completely.Middle Layer: Mix softened cream cheese, 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar and Cool Whip. When crust is cooled, spread mixture on top. Refrigerate overnight.
Top Layer: (Best if made the night before.) Make lemon pie filling by directions on box. You will need 4 egg yolks, 1 cup sugar, 4 1/4 cups water. After cooking pour in a bowl and refrigerate overnight. Next morning stir lemon pie filling and spoon over top of middle layer. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
