Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cream cheese - 4 oz
- cornstarch - 1/4 c
- water - 1 c
- egg whites - 2 item
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- grated lemon rind - 1 tsp
- slightly beaten egg yolks - 2 item
- 8-inch baked pie shell
How to make lemon cloud pie:
In saucepan, combine 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, water, lemon rind, lemon juice and egg yolks. Cook over medium heat; stir constantly until thick. Remove from heat. Add 4 ounces cream cheese; blend well. Beat egg whites. Add 1/2 cup sugar (beat stiff). Fold into lemon mixture.
