Ingredients/Components
- potatoes, mashed or riced - 8 c
- butter, softened - 8 Tbsp
- flour scant - 4 c
- whipping cream - 1/2 c
- salt
How to make lefse:
In a large bowl, mix together cooled potatoes, cream and butter. Mix well. Add salt and flour (just enough to make dough easy to handle). Roll out thin on floured board. Bake on a 500° lefse griddle. Turn and bake on the other side. Makes 30 lefse.Recipe categories: Breads, Appetizers, Potato.
