Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 item
  • Parmesan cheese - 1 tsp
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • stalks celery, finely chopped - 4 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • tomato, chopped - 1 item
  • green onions, chopped - 6 item
  • head lettuce, chopped - 1 item
  • slices bacon, fried and crumbled - 18 item
  • Ranch dressing - 1/2 c
  • can tiny green peas, drained - 1 oz
  • slices Swiss cheese, grated - 8 item

How to make layered salad:

Layer lettuce, onions, green pepper, tomato, peas, celery, 9 slices bacon and Swiss cheese in a 9 x 11 x 2-inch dish. Sprinkle with sugar.

Mix mayonnaise and Ranch dressing. Spread evenly over salad. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Refrigerate. Crumble remaining 9 slices bacon over dish just before serving. Makes 12 servings.
