Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- hot water - 3 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 lb
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- Ricotta cheese - 1/2 lb
- rosemary - 1/2 tsp
- clove minced garlic - 1 item
- lasagne noodles, cooked and drained - 1/2 lb
How to make lasagne:
In a small pan, combine hot water, tomato paste, salt, pepper and rosemary. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Fry beef until brown; drain off grease. Add garlic and onion and cook until soft and crumbly.In a shallow baking dish (13 x 9 x 2-inch), put noodles, sauce, Ricotta and thin slices of Mozzarella. Repeat. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
