Ingredients/Components
- lasagna noodles - 8 oz
- parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- medium onion - 1 item
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- water - 2 c
- sugar - 1 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- american cheese, sliced - 1 lb
- mozzarella cheese - 8 oz
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- beef - 1 lb
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp
- pinch of basil - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
How to make lasagna:
Brown onion and garlic in olive oil. Add meat until brown. Stir with fork; add remaining ingredients. Stir and simmer 1/2 hour. Place mixture in bottom of pan; layer with noodles, then cheeses. Keep layering until all ingredients are used. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Lasagna.
