  • cider vinegar - 1 qt
  • cucumbers - 1 item
  • noniodized salt - 1 c
  • head fresh dill - 1 item
  • to 3 hot peppers - 2 item
  • to 2 cloves fresh garlic - 1 item

How to make kosher dill pickles:

Select fresh firm cucumbers, wash and pack into jars. Add to each quart jar: dill, garlic and peppers. Bring to a boil water, vinegar and salt. Pour hot solution over cucumbers and seal jars. Pickles will be ready in 3 to 4 weeks.
