- flour - 2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks butter - 2 item
- water - 1/2 c
- Kahlua - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- Bring cocoa, butter, water and 1/2 cup Kahlua to boil in medium saucepan
- milk - 3 Tbsp
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
How to make kahlua cake:
Sift into large bowl the flour, sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Bring cocoa, butter, water and 1/2 cup Kahlua to boil in medium saucepan. Pour over flour mixture; mix well. In separate bowl beat eggs, soda, buttermilk and 3 tablespoons Kahlua. Add to flour mixture. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Don't overbake.Icing:1 Tbsp. butter3 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp. cocoa3 Tbsp. Kahlua1 box confectioners sugar Bring butter, milk and cocoa to boil. Add to 1 box confectioners sugar.
