  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • margarine - 1/2 tsp
  • parsley flakes - 1 tsp
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1 c
  • oregano - 1/2 Tbsp
  • can tomato paste - 1 item
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • tomato juice - 1/2 gal
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • canned tomatoes
  • fennel seed - 1 tsp
  • well beaten eggs - 2 item
  • or 3 bay leaves - 2 item
  • tomatoes, run through colander - 2 qt
  • large onion, chopped and browned in oil - 1 item
  • When it is thick, put meatballs in it and let simmer a little while to take the flavor

How to make italian spaghetti:

Put all of this in large cooker and let cook until thick, about 2 hours. When it is thick, put meatballs in it and let simmer a little while to take the flavor. This freezes well.Meat Balls:2 lb. hamburger meat2 tsp. salt pepper to taste1 c. bread crumbs1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes2 well beaten eggs Mix hamburger meat, salt, pepper, bread crumbs, canned tomatoes and well beaten eggs. Make into balls and bake in oven until done. Add to sauce.
