Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- egg yolks - 5 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- beaten egg whites - 5 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Angel Flake coconut - 1 c
- Add egg yolks, one at a time, then add flour, buttermilk, soda and coconut
How to make italian cream cake:
Cream well sugar, oleo and Crisco. Add egg yolks, one at a time, then add flour, buttermilk, soda and coconut. Beat in egg whites. Bake in three 9-inch pans for 25 minutes at 350°. Let cool.Icing:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese1 stick oleo1 box powderedRecipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Cakes.
