Impossible taco pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- milk
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- Bisquick baking mix - 3/4 c
- can green chilies, drained - 1 item
- envelope taco seasoning - 1 item
- tomatoes, halved - 2 item
How to make impossible taco pie:
Heat oven to 400°. Grease 10-inch pie plate. Cook and stir beef and onion until brown; drain. Stir in seasoning mix. Spread in pie plate; top with chilies.Beat milk, baking mix and eggs until smooth or 15 seconds on high or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into pie plate. Bake 25 minutes. Top with tomatoes and cheese. Bake until knife inserts in center and comes out clean, 8 to 10 minutes longer. Cool 5 minutes. Serve with sour cream, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce and shredded cheese. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
