  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • nuts - 1/2 c
  • liquid shortening

How to make icebox cookies:

Mix sugars, shortening and eggs until creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients. Dough will be stiff. Mold in 8 x 8-inch cake pan. Cool for at least 3 hours. Divide into 3 rows. Slice 1/8-inch thick. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes.
