Hot water gingerbread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- molasses - 1/3 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- melted oleo - 4 Tbsp
How to make hot water gingerbread:
Add water to molasses and then add dry ingredients. Add oleo and beat well. Pour into an 8 x 8-inch pan and bake at 325° for 25 to 35 minutes. Serve plain or top with Cool Whip.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low protein.
