  • corn meal - 3 c
  • hot not boiling water - 2 c
  • salt to taste just a pinch - 1 item

How to make hot water cornbread:

Heat water in a small saucepan. Put 3 cups of corn meal in large bowl and after water is very hot, pour in bowl. Mix. Take handfuls of mixture and form under stream of cold water. Use a teaspoon for putting oil in skillet. Fry until golden brown. Enjoy!
