Hot mushroom turnovers

- sour cream - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1/2 c
- mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- large chopped onion - 1 item
How to make hot mushroom turnovers:
Mix first 3 ingredients until smooth and shape into a ball. Wrap and refrigerate.In skillet over medium heat, cook mushrooms and onion in 3 tablespoons butter until tender. Stir in sour cream, salt, thyme and 2 tablespoons flour; set aside. Roll out pastry, cut into 3-inch circles and fill with 1/2 teaspoon mushroom filling. Brush edges of circle with egg and fold dough in half, pressing to seal edges. Crimp edges and prick tops with a fork. Brush top with remaining egg. Place turnovers 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 450° for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately.
