- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- butter or oleo - 1 Tbsp
- hot milk - 1/2 c
How to make hot milk sponge cake:
Beat eggs and sugar and beat again. Add flour with baking powder and salt. Beat in hot milk and butter. Bake in loaf pan in moderate oven at 350° until done about 30 to 45 minutes.This recipe is great for strawberry short cake.
